Thanks to funky musician Julian Kay for letting me play Advance Wars. He very kindly also allowed me to produce this Advance Wars: Dual Strike review. It’s funny because it’s Advance Wars for the DS and “Dual Strike” is like “DS” haha.
How is it different to Advance Wars? You can touch the screen although why you would want to is beyond me. Also, you can control two Commanding Officers at once hence “DUAL”.
Better or worse? I prefer it – there’s more variety of Commanding Officers to choose from.
Hi guys, let’s go on a rant about things that I hate in games!
By all means, a game isn’t bad if it features it, but man it can make it a hell of a lot worse!
If anyone can think of anything else they hate and primary examples, go right ahead!
I’m looking at you Underwater Levels!

Hello all and welcome to what I’m going to call a Julian Kay review. Jules gave me something like 45 games, and I’m going to review them as soon as I’ve played them rather than wait until they come down the list. The first game up is Advance Wars. Yes this Julian Kay / Advance Wars review will be awesome.
Favourite CO: From Orange Star – Max, because you could use him to tank through basically every level. I do love Eagle’s design because he reminds me of the master of shoehorning – Lance Blackthorn if he was a Flying-type trainer.
Remind you of anything: I thought it was going to be a lot like FFXII-2 but it really wasn’t, as it’s a lot more turn based. There are similar elements however.
