Things that I hate in games

Hi guys, let’s go on a rant about things that I hate in games!

By all means, a game isn’t bad if it features it, but man it can make it a hell of a lot worse!

The Hobbit PC Review

You probably think the only thing I’ve ever played is book-come-game games. Once again, this holds true for The Hobbit for the PC. Enjoy my The Hobbit – PC – review!

Good old Bilbo and his dying noise

Console: PC
How I first heard of this game – A good friend from school told me a story about playing it. This included her picking up the phone whilst playing and Bilbo dying. She set the phone down next to the speaker whilst going to get whoever the call was for. Whilst out of the room, Bilbo died. When he dies he screams and there’s a foreboding piece of music. I’m sure the person on the other end of the phone was wondering what that was about.
Did I buy this game? – My sister actually found it for mega-cheap (like £2 or something) in a game shop and got it for me for Christmas. I was well pleased.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring PC Review

Quite possibly my favourite game for the PC – The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. This game, although released around the same time as the films was not based on them, but instead based on the first novel of the trilogy. Please enjoy my Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring review!

This game is actually based on the books, WOO

Console: PC
Best Enjoyed: Whilst setting Gimli on fire, or playing as Aragorn because he’s awesome.
Memorable moment: saving during a stealth mission, only to get caught seconds later. I had to start the game all over again because when I reloaded the save file I’d have no chance to avoid detection and so result in a game over.
